22 YEARS OF TEACHING BASKETBALL FUNDAMENTALS & HARD WORK ETHICS

Ty McGregor is entering his 22nd year as the Director of Ty McGregor's Roundball Camp.  Ty's School of Hoops is known for its extensive discipline, hard work, competitive atmosphere, & detailed teaching of the games fundamentals.  Ty has played & earned many accomplishments and accolades at every level of the game; begininning in High School at Mio AuSable, college at Oakland University, then onto Professional Basketball in the European Circuit.  Ty just completed his 4th year as the Kirtland Community College Firebird Men's Head Basketball Coach.  In his 1st season at the helm, The Firebirds finished 2nd in their league behind the National Champions, Mott Community College (which was the highest league placing in the programs history), and also set the bar for most single season wins in the school's history.  Coach McGregor & The Firebirds again won 18 games this past season, matching the most single season wins in school history, & made the Conference Playoffs for the 4th straight year, which is also a first.  Ty continues to study & work at the game, so that he may pass along his knowledge, skills, & unbelievable passion for basketball to those that want to improve & elevate their game to the next level.  Each camp session is crammed with the kind of hands-on teaching that will make a difference in your game.  From start to finish, each camper is exposed to high levels of intense basketball instruction & motivation that will assist beginners & experienced alike.

A Note From Ty

I'm a firm believer that the game of basketball is not only a great sport, but it is more importantly a valuable teaching tool for lifelong lessons.  Good things happen to those that have a positive attitude, do what is right, & work hard, & my staff & I will always do our best to instill these positive traits in all those that attend our basketball camps.  We have a strong goal to make each day a masterpiece, by making it a fun, disciplined, learning experience for all.  Participants will receive first-hand insight training from individuals who know what it takes to improve and develop skills, both on and off the court.  I can't wait to lace them up with you & get our sweat on!
